How do I view the cameras?

You can view your camera/s wherever you are in the world and on any device including desktops, laptops, tablets and phones. Our installer will install the phone app and set up all required settings on your phone during installation.

How do the spotlights work?

Our cameras have built-in spotlights that come on when an intruder is detected at night. The spotlights can illuminate an area around 100 feet from the camera. The spotlights allow recording night time videos in full colour and can also be used as outdoor floodlights via options in the phone app.

Spotlights can be an effective deterrent to intruders by persuading them to try elsewhere!

Do the cameras need batteries?

No, the cameras are powered by a small adapter that plugs into a mains wall socket. Our cameras are designed to be left switched on 24 hours a day, all year round. They consume Just 3.5 watts of power so cost very little to run 24 hours a day.

What sort of router do I need?

You'll need a wi-router with a reasonably good range and fast upload speed. Our cameras can reliably transmit their wi-fi signals to your router from a distance of around 100 metres in open ground conditions. The signal strength can be affected by obstacles like thick walls. The installer will measure your router's signal strength during the planning stage to ensure best camera placement.

You can test your home wi-fi connection speeds in our speed tester page. This will let you know how many cameras you can install in your home.

What happens if an intruder is detected?

If a camera detects movement it will immediately send a notification alerts to your mobile phone via the app and start recording sound and video on the internal micro SD storage card. You can view live video streams from your cameras on your mobile wherever you are in the world. Notifications can be turned on and off via the app.

Are the cameras guaranteed?

Yes. Our cameras are guaranteed against breakdown for a period of one year after installation. During this time faulty cameras will be replaced and any labour costs will be covered by us. Some problems can occur due to misconfiguration of the phone app settings or it could simply be someone has unplugged the camera's power adapter or your wi-fi router is not working properly. There are lots of reasons why your cameras are not working as they should so take a look at FAQS section to see if you can find an answer before you contact us.
